When I started weightlifting, it was a time in my life when my fitness was the only thing in my control. I was about to graduate from college, going through a breakup, and so confused about where my life was headed. I felt so weak mentally that I thought if I could be physically strong maybe some of it would rub off into my brain.

Now my brain didn’t actually get any bigger, but I did learn some powerful lessons through weight lifting. I realized that strength is made by repeatadly lifting things that are heavy, and our mental health works the same way. This lesson and all the others I learned in the gym are the reasons I fell in love with fitness.

My ultimate goal is to help others fall in love with fitness, but more importantly themselves, the same way I did. My philosophy is that the gym should only add to your quality of life. It should never feel stressful or restrictive or like a burden. I want you to wake up every morning and love what you see in the mirror, count down the minutes until your workout, and never obsess about food ever again. I want to give you freedom.

If you are looking to count macros, train for a competition, or lose tons of weight then I am not your girl. However, if you want to fall in love with life, with yourself and uncover your unlimited capabilities, join me on this journey to “get fit”.
